1. Energy Assessments

Companies interested in transitioning to solar power are often unsure of the steps they must take to make the transition. Commercial solar power companies can provide the answers. A solar power company is the expert to consult with to determine how your business can fully transition to solar power. The energy expert will assess the energy needs of your business, the current consumption, and the site to find solutions that align fully with your energy needs. These experts will evaluate ways to maximize energy efficiency and reduce energy costs for your business. They do a complete property assessment to determine the best placement of solar panels and equipment.

If you're looking for your next step to transition to solar energy, taking advantage of commercial solar power companies' consultation services is the best way to take that step. You'll have all the information you need to make an informed decision. The right support ensures you can confidently transition to solar power.

2. Financing Support

There's more than one way to pay for solar panel and equipment installation. There are also tax incentives and other programs that can help offset the cost. However, taking advantage of the incentive programs and financing features can be complex. Commercial solar power companies can help navigate the available financing and incentive options.

These companies have experts on staff who can navigate the incentive, rebate, and tax programs that apply to your commercial property. They can also help you choose financing plans that suit your budget needs. Working closely with a reputable commercial solar company can help you decide which financing is right.

There are options like solar leasing programs, solar loans and power, and purchase agreements that make the transition to solar energy much more affordable. When you have the right support, tapping into all the available resources that can help offset costs is easy. These companies will help you maximize your returns on a solar investment.

3. Training Support

Commercial solar power companies offer training support for businesses. Your current staff will learn how to use the solar equipment properly to ensure proper maintenance. Solar companies offer a wide range of training resources. These training courses can help you make informed decisions about your solar investment, help staff learn more about solar equipment, and help answer any questions. You can find most of the answers you need about solar energy through workshops and other training equipment.

Solar power companies can provide detailed industry insight into cutting-edge technology and other important information you can use, including case studies and projections for future trends. Their training programs are also in-depth, informative, and useful for any business transitioning to solar power.

4. Monitoring Services

Commercial solar power companies provide monitoring services using state-of-the-art equipment to ensure your solar power stays reliable. If the monitoring services detect a potential problem, the technicians act. Your system is monitored in real-time. Maintenance services are also provided. Experts will monitor the system, maintain it, and quickly address any problems early on. These services protect your system and ensure reliable power.

There are many other services that you can find with a commercial solar company that go beyond the design and installation of solar systems. These companies partner with businesses to promote solar energy and sustainable solutions that save money and are environmentally friendly. Northwind Solar will Transition Forward Note: This communication from Northwind Solar CEO Josh Stolzenburg is a message to our stakeholders, clients, and friends about an exciting new development at Northwind. I’ve been consumed, for nearly two decades now, leading a passion project called Northwind Solar. Originally conceived to provide meaningful work for those who wanted to advance climate and energy solutions, we’ve grown into one of Wisconsin’s most effective and respected solar companies. Thirty committed employees (of whom 16 share ownership) now work out of our Amherst office. The time has come for me to step out of the role of CEO, shift my Northwind work to new priorities, and cultivate next generation leadership. As a company, we have matured over the years and come a long way from the conceptual white boards I scrawled on the walls of a friend’s basement in 2007, My crude “business plan” evolved from educational work (with the Midwest Renewable Energy Association) which fueled my desire to put meaningful green kilowatt hours on the Wisconsin grid to offset fossil fuel use. I engaged a couple of technically proficient business partners in 2008 and we began to offer wind, solar heating, and solar electric to suit the needs of a growing customer base. In the mid-teens we shifted our exclusive focus to solar electric (including battery systems and, now, smart electrification). From the beginning, community involvement was an important corollary to our professional work. My early involvement with the development of the Central Rivers Farmshed and work with the WI Farmer’s Union led to compelling work with and support for local small farms. Until recently, I’ve advised Mid-State Technical College’s renewable energy program since it’s inception in 2008 and we’ve been able to hire graduates of that program consistently since 2010. I’ve served on the Renew WI board of directors since 2019 and helped to create SolarShare WI, a thriving community solar investment cooperative. Part of the Northwind ethos has been distributed management and shared ownership. We formalized that in 2017 when we converted from a partnership to a worker owned cooperative. Employees could buy in, become owners, and share in the financial rewards and governance. In the seven years since there have been challenges, successes, and changes in personnel as we have learned to be a democratic company.
